2020 is almost over & I ain’t mad at that . I’m ready to leave this year behind, however I’d gladly take some great releases into 2021 with me. Amidst a global pandemic, the racial injustice of George Floyd and loosing greats such as Chadwick Boseman, Kobe Bryant, and Pop Smoke and lastly just the negativity flying around on social media on a daily baiss – ANYONE who released music this year, kept the unifying spirits up deserves a round of applause because good music really is the oxygen i breathe. I’m recognising those early in their career – let me hit you with my latest discoveries!
ZONES – FREESTYLE (BBC RAP GAME SEASON 2)
I’m doing it different this week, this isn’t an official single, but it SHOULD BE. I can’t let this freestyle just go on unshared. The Rap Game UK is a talent show hosted by one of the UK’s most successful rap duo’s Krept & Konan and Radio Legend DJ Target . It is aimed at finding the next big rapper in the UK. Season 2 has been full of moments but this was a BIG highlight for me. Zone’s is one of two women in the competition and this was her final performance LIVE on DJ Kenny Allstar’s Show via BBC 1 XTRA.
For me, it was the PASSION , the EMOTION, the RAWNESS, the VULNERABILITY. I don’t want to spoil it for you in case you haven’t watched it yet but if the whole competition was based on this one challenge – she would win with flying coloursssss! Take her in. We will be hearing more from here soon.

Essex Resident (East London Born) Promise providing not just vibes, sometimes LOUD videos. That’s what caught my eye to be honest! Don’t you just love it when an artist gets in their acting bag?! HAZARD (LDG) – DOUBT
Oiii, when drill makes you SWAY?? it’s a different feeling mate! Swaying is good for the soul man – try it to South East London Hazard (LDG) debut single DOUBT. LDG is a collective and stands ‘Loyalty Does Greatness’ we should be hearing more from all of them in 2021, however Hazard is the lead vocalist in the group and his put his foot down on the gas pedal!
